    Honestly blown away

Honestly I am totally blown away by this system. I’ve been wanting a soundbar for my (very tiny) bedroom - having them in the movie room and the living room king of ruins the TV speaker forever. I’m not familiar with this brand and to be honest I figured it would most likely be some cheap foreign garbage…. I was wrong. I was totally wrong. To my untrained ears, it sounds incredible. I hate to admit it but it sounds better than my very expensive Samsung soundbar with read speakers in the movie room, and the Samsung soundbar + subwoofer in the living room. Admittedly those are larger spaces, but still… I genuinely think it’s the speakers. Sounds amazing, I am so glad I pulled the trigger!!

As far as setup - me personally, I set it up. I am the least technical, most easily confused human ever… but it was extremely intuitive, all I really had to do was plug stuff in. Everything was color coded, the soundbar and the 2 front speakers worked as soon as I connected the HDMI. The rear speakers pretty much same deal, plugged them in and pressed the “sync” button and boom - done!!

Part of me thinks I should swap the theatre system with this system, but part of me thinks it’s so awesome having such great sound in my bedroom.

The subwoofer really slaps, honestly I forgot to plug it in at first and the system still sounded great without it. But boy… plugging it in sure added some umph!! I can literally feel the base even at low volume… which might not be for everyone, but it certainly is for me.

So happy with this sound system and have zero regrets not going with a known brand!! The price is incredible for the quality. Relative to my Samsung systems, this is so much of a better value! I would buy another sound system from this brand.

Great and user friendly sound system with stunning audio quality!

I recently got the sound bar with dolby atmos and it has transformed my home theater experience. Setting it up was a breeze, connecting it to my smart TV via HDMI eARC was straightforward, and the app control made fine tuning audio settings remarkably simple.
The sound quality is outstanding. The surround sound system, complete with four additional speakers and a subwoofer, delivers an immersive audio experience that truly fills the room. Dolby Atmos technology ensures the sound is multidimensional and incredibly clear, making movie nights much more exciting.
The sleek design of the soundbar complements my home theater setup beautifully, and its compatibility with modern technology guarantees great performance. I highly recommend the Aura A60 to anyone looking to enhance their entertainment setup with high quality sound and ease of use.

Easy to setup, great sound, works with firestick.

    Aura A60

My TV does not have an optical out or HDMI Arc feature! So it took a while for me to setup and think creatively, but now I know.. it’s easy and quick to setup!!
The cables and speakers and are all clearly labelled, and the system uses as fewer cables as possible. 2 power supplies, one for the main box and front left and right speakers, 1 for the rear speakers. The rear speakers connect wirelessly to the main box, but connect to each other via a single wire.
    1. I used the included optical cable and plugged in to my Xbox one, I didn’t test fully as the usual “you have to update” kicked in. But it did work with the BluRay disc just fine.
    2. I then dug out an old blu ray player with an optical out, also worked straight out of the box.
    3. Finally I realised I could connect my firestick directly to the box via Bluetooth. Which is great as it works with all of the apps. Pairing was quick, using the firestick settings. I tested using a youtube surround sound video and sounds great! The firestick controller also controls the volume which makes things more convenient.

It does seem a little pricey, but I have not tested lower priced ones so I really cannot compare. Its feels good quality and definately looks premium. It certainly gives the home theatre that proper cinema feeling.

Surround Sound with subwoofer and HDMI

New tech soundbar; has hdmi and also an app for control. A step up from previous tech with remotes and optical but no HDMI.

    Big boom for your room

Yes, I have used a soundbar; no, I have not had a surround sound soundbar. Initially, I thought soundbars are a gimmick, when they’re just one bar and no supplemental speakers, or a 2.1 setup. With a 7.1 setup, my opinion now varies.

For this test, I’ve used a MacBook Pro with lossless Apple Music - over Bluetooth - which is not truly lossless, and restricted to the limitations of Bluetooth 5.0. That said, I’m not an audiophile - I just want some impressive audio to my musical mixes, and I want the claims on the box to be authentic.

The bar itself has some power to it alone - you’ll want the sub plugged in for the kick of the bass, while the surround speakers add to your sound stage and add dynamic range.

In most cases, you will only want a front-facing setup - the rear surround speakers are powered separately, tethered together between one cable, then wirelessly connected to the soundbar. There’s no apparent latency.

Hip hop music really adds a rumble to those undertones. Jazz kicks in the bass and sends cymbals around the edges of your periphery. A lot of widened stereo effects are thrown wider of the standard central channels, and they sound satisfying. Without a Dolby Atmos mixdown, like with my current setup, widening effects to your music will vary according to your tastes and aural sensitivity.

To get an actual surround setup out of what I have, I’m disappointed I don’t just have the parts, so will need to get an audio splitter separately to enjoy the full range of acoustics from Apple Music, let alone figuring out how to connect my Nintendo Switch for the most immersive experience. Over the optical cable, I’ve experienced great tones, but can’t verify if they’re surround.

I would say with some pre-planning and research, you will be able to install this out of the box. Fully tuning it to your liking and making it compatible with all your devices - HDMI and an optical cable are supplied in case - may take a little longer, as you will want to figure out where it is you might sit for best effect. I still can’t get all channels to individually output through each individual speaker with my Nintendo Switch settings, but playing back Dolby tests via YouTube seems to fool the ears.

Like most soundbars I’ve used, this one suffers from the design flaw of having touch controls on top but no tactile surfaces. In dark, cinematic situations, it’s likely you’ll switch the sources or volume accidentally without realising. While you’re setting up the system with music playing to check the signal is working, it’s very likely you’ll blast yourself or mute yourself as you plug cables in.

Overall, I’m impressed it’s possible to get a surround setup for under £200 without opening a catalogue from 1998 and finding great deals. I’m impressed this carries a Dolby logo on it, though I can’t find it as a licensed product on their website. The sub manages to not muffle vocals and warms the room even at low volume, and your enhanced soundstage will be very impressive.
